I'm bad at math. When we first launched, I was charging around $3/hour of conversation. Since then, pricing actually dropped, but as a result became unsustainable in the long run. So, I'm setting it back.

The easy way to think about this price change is: "I'm paying around $1 more per hour of conversation."

Even at these prices, I'm not really making money yet. But breaking even would be nice.

What's changing

Our credit packs are moving from $2/hour to $3/hour:

• $15 for 5,000 credits (~5 hours)
• $30 for 10,000 credits (~10 hours)
• $75 for 25,000 credits (~25 hours)

Credits work exactly the same way — 1,000 credits is still roughly 1 hour of conversation. The only change is the price per credit.

What stays the same

• Free credits on signup — new users still get 500 free credits (~30 minutes) to try R1N, no credit card required.
• Pay-per-use — no subscriptions, no recurring charges. Buy credits when you want them.
• Your existing credits — any credits you already own are unaffected. Use them as you always have.

Looking ahead

Sorry it's so expensive. I'm hoping that the underlying technology becomes cheaper over time.
